Graduation Celebration 2012

It was so nice to celebrate an eventful phase in my life with friends and lover. I have just graduated from Edinburgh's Telford College. I now have an HND in Social Services. It was held on a lovely afternoon at Usher Hall and it was surreal to see all of us gather round and strut our stuff as we grab our diplomas across the stage. I remembered walking across that and I was waving my scroll towards my lecturers. Without them, we would never have been pushed to our limits. They are truly one of a kind.

I remember how stressful this has been for my coursemates and I because this course has been fast tracked for us which means that everything had to be done double time. There was no room for failures or remediations. With all that hardwork and numerous acne breakouts, everything had come to a conclusion, as well as a beginning for me.

My family may not have been there but I know they send their love and best regards.

kudos to me.

This is the day I can share with my grandchildren in the future.
My Graduation Day.

Lining up during the processionals was the tensing part coz when I walk through those doors, the bright lights meet you and I try to resist every inch in me not to trip over the carpet. I breathed in, walk that walk and survived. I try not to smile too big coz my gums might show.lol But the feeling is ... everything that you could encompass in the word 'happiness'.

Shaking Daddy L's hands when I got that diploma is everything I hoped it would be. Fulfilling.

Getting pinned by Dr. Dean and advising me to study hard is also everything I hoped it would be. Wonderful.
Staying still for that one of a kind class picture with Daddy Adviser is majestic.
Smiling big for every camera you see is a tough job but the memory it captures will be there. (in Facebook, tehee)
The Nurse's Notes were angels. I closed my eyes to absorb the music. They did 3 songs, a tribute to the Dean, to the students and then to the parents. How entrancing.
Many applauds for the awardees.
In all honesty, I slept in between some of the ceremonies because it was taking too long. It isn't easy handing out 900+ diplomas to 900+ graduates.

So hats off to the TAU 2nd Generation Class of 2010. We deserved this!

Nokia E63, i own you!

Thank you for a lovely graduation present. :D
I'm so giddy, I could rip up that box!(but I won't)

I’ve just bought a Nokia E63 today with my mom. It’s 9,800php when I bought it at SM Cebu. I’m very happy with Ruby Red design, the wifi, the Adobe (i’m reading some novels from it) and everything else in between. I named this baby, Loochy.

I just kinda hoped it had a cable included in the box. That’s the bummer part.
I just have to own Ruby Red. Black and silver has become too monotonous for me.

Did I mention about a certain breakage fee that our school returns to us? Oh yesss, the day I had that cheque in hand was the day I would prolly realize the feeling of a person's "first pay day".. you know! And when it was finally cashed, was the day I had to pull my bag close to me no matter what.

100 nights

oh contrair, 116 nights 'tis for the sole reason that our Graduation is 116 nights away.

For months now the production crew have been meeting non stop for an event to blow our parents, teachers and fellow students away. Indeed it has proven to be laborous and fruitful. I love how everything just came together around 2 nights before the show. I left school about 1am to help make, carry, staple, glue, decorate stuff.

The good side about this whole endeavor is meeting new people, people i never thought were actually my batchmates! I'm so thrilled to have met them, to have learned about them and being with them (expecially eye candies ex. "Choi" Pepito, "Pianist" Mark, "Braces" Ivan, and my props team too)

pre production (we are 5 out of 60 of the whole production team; time check 12am)

4j as Intermission number
