A saturday night version of my bjacz and I.

and you sang your refrain

We miss our lecturer when we did our HNC course last school year, so we decided to finally find the time to have dinner at Nando's with her and catch up. But alas, her work got on the way so that meant continuing with dinner with my good friends. I know we see each other a lot in college and around the neighborhood but I'm really glad that I have them. I'm thankful I have gone through this whole experience in a new foreign place with them. With all the struggles, we had each other's backs.

caffeinated sunrise

How coffee is beautifully made by a lovely friend.

She has all these gadgets and all these intricate measurements. At first I thought it was time-consuming but looking at it made me see all the love and goodness that both coffee and a friend offer and contain.

Random fact about me: I have a thing with burning my tongue a lot of times though so I prefer my coffee lukewarm. Haha

young blood

Karaoke-ing with friends has always been a wonderful outlet for me. I'm glad I still have my tunes intact.

The goodluck's and take care's warm my heart. Thanks so much for the well wishes.
I will be off to Scotland and I don't know when I'll be coming back home. I'm thankful for everything that has led me to this opportunity. I will make every moment count. I am going to be the very best that I can be.

For the people that I haven't had much time to spend time with, at least we have memories to hold on to. Just know I really wanted to be with you and laugh all the worries away.

If I don't cry that doesn't mean that I won't miss you, I definitely will. I'm just not used to crying that's all.

Hugs to everyone.

to visit and reminisce

Brought along my Time-life camera when Jer and I went to visit our friends at the Don Bosco Retreat house just so I can finally take pictures with it. The hike up the place made my calves beg for mercy while juggling the foods we bought for them. haha

I've stayed at that exact same house when I was preparing for my local board exam in nursing way back in June-July. I was getting flashbacks the whole time we walked around the place. The nice old guy from the canteen and the chef was still there; the rooftop still remains kinda mossy, the room still fits 4 people (which is a miracle really!). Now I'm doing the opposite, I'm visiting my friends who are the next ones to take the exam. I wish them all the best.

the dark side of the moon

This is another one of those "brother, can I borrow you shirt?" moments! He then yields to my awesomeness and tada! I'm wearing it. Since I'm not a 60's baby (I'm from the 90's), I haven't heard of Pink Floyd's music so I apologize if I have insulted any avid Pink Floyd fan by wearing this tee. Please don't fire your pitchforks and throw them aimlessly at me!

On a different note, I was thrown away by a revelation that a good friend just told me. It's just whoa! then really? then awwww, so happy for you! I'm a bowl of different emotions, so my incoherent responsiveness are a result of spontaneity. I never really know what to say so I end up being confused but I try to get my views across.

Moving on, I've been roaming around Cebu in a jeepney, under the biting heat of the sun, while make up drips down along half of my face, as I try to do some important paper works that my mom is bugging me to finish. I've only accomplished 70%. Eeeek! So much for starting December with a joyful tone. I need someone to tune down the sun for me indefinitely.

hungover by the deathly hallows

Bubba died on me right after I took this shot. Well, at least I got a shot though.

Moving on, my friends and I went out to watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows last night. I kind of had my circular glasses ready for that premiere but lost it so I decided against wearing any eye wear and just enjoy the movie. I surely did. The air of the film was depressing but I'm glad they injected in some humor. I don't want to give anything away for those who haven't watched it yet that's why I'll be giving only vague descriptions of the film. I was particularly entertained during the Tale of the Three Brothers. It was an unusual form of animation which told the story beautifully. Another memorable parts were the multiple Harrys and "the dance". I just kept LOL-ing in my seat. I hope the sucker beside me didn't mind all my chuckling. I screeched from the excitement during the parts when they run away in slow motion. Cinematography included numerous wide-angle shots of various breathtaking places. I left the theater with an "Awww...I want more" feeling but it was still worth the money.

We hit the bazaar at I.T. park right after and bought this baby. It reminded me of Slytherin and how I have the biggest crush on Draco Malfoy.
