I coudn't be any more happy when I celebrated my 22 with them. I was definitely pressured to do something for my birthday because people kept asking me about it. So everything was done at the last minute, from the venue, cooking to the drinks. Thanks to everyone for making this possible. Seriously, thanks.

my beloved was weighed down

It was our friend's birthday and we celebrated by drowning ourselves in chlorinated water with six other strangers all trying to keep fit while we were like kids just keeping afloat.

When a friend of a friend has a birthday, my appetite becomes monstrous. Toffee cakes and sandwiches are just some of the goodness that their flat were filled with.I left with a very happy tummy. Thank you friend of friend. :)

I do not regret the calories. I can always shed off some of the weight with all the walking since traysikads are non existent here. Hello humongous calves!

Happy birthday to my wonderful mother! 

When I was a kid, I asked her why she has to work. I want her to be home all the time and take care of me. She replied that work is important and that I have to understand.. It was mother's day when I asked and I just had to let that out because all of my other friends always have their moms with them during important school events and my mom was always late and I'd end up crying after. She'd comfort me with her words then food. She's a working mother and I respect her for that.

I've learned to teach myself what I need to know in school my own way because I don't always have her around tutoring me with my lessons. In the most unusual way, I am academically capable because all these time she had taught to me be independent. I'm slowly transitioning from school to real life now and I'm glad she's still by me whenever I need her. She is my rock.

Happy birthday to my big little brother. 

I love it when home cooking and fast food comes together. I got dibs on the gravy. Nomnomnom.

As our tummies were full, our jokes got funnier. The funny bone trigger was on sky high and our laughing voice box were on full blast. 

That's my family and I in our home-buddy look, I usually wear huge tshirts when I'm just at home. It's comfy that way. :)

Oh round table, you have been sturdy for every dinner, birthday or fiesta that has beheld upon you. What magical wood, thou has been carved upon. Stay strong. 

My thoughts are scattered right now. Forgive me.

life is uncertain. eat cake first.

Four reasons why I should eat a chocolate covered, cherry topped-cake, slice it up in even pieces and then share it with you lovely people are:

Number 1: It was my dad's birthday last October 28. He's 61 and still the man of the house. He gets his energy from his micro naps and that trusty radio of his. Oh and from the no-pork diet, too. H'e just amazing and I hope he continues to be. I pray for him good health always.

Number 2: There's a 3-day fiesta celebration here at our little town in Consolacion and I am not out to ride the rides because of fear that hinges will make screechy noisea, some screws will go loose and I will dive into my untimely horrific death! That's my paranoia talking right now and that's what I get for watching all those Final Destination Series.

Number 3: I finally finished that IELTS exam. The Speaking exam was smooth and easy but the written exams went by way too fast. I just hope that essay I wrote under 20 minutes made any sense. I was shaking so bad when the invigilator told me I had 20 minutes left. At least, I finished it all but I really hope that I got it right. I'll know the results on Nov. 12. Did you hear that? That was the sound of my big fat red pan encircling that date. haha

Lastly:  I'll be staying home and getting some Tim Burton and Jack Skellington loving as I watch Nightmare Before Christmas. We don't really dress up and that's fine with me.

let not the sands of time get in your lunch

That's my niece's tiny stuffed animal that looks like he's been having the most awesome sleep because he's cool like that.

Sleep has been hurting me for a while now. I wake up with pain on the back of my neck and my pillow and blanket all mashed up on the bottom of my bed. I've deduced that while I am sleeping, I move around so much that all my stuff just fall right to the ground, leaving me with no pillow which causes misalignment of my spine, thus, causing the neck pain; and a blanket that doesn't protect me from the biting cold of the night, so much for a good night's sleep. The prone position while sleeping is giving me troubles also.

I have to fasten my pillows and blankets tonight. Good luck and a very good night to me.

It was my big brother's birthday last October 1. He's way past the calendar mark now. haha The family had dinner, ate some delectable mango cake, joked about age-ing and reminiscing about being young. Oh how time flies...

September 21- I am ecstatic to be 21. I am feeling the love and the blessings. Friends and family made me the lucky ducky that I am.

This is my birthday in pictures. Before my day ended, I've always wanted to do some achievable things I've never tried before.

I was taught poker about a year ago by Julien while we were at her house doing our past research project. *good times*
Now that we went over to her house to celebrate her 21st birthday (it's not your sweet 16 dear..haha but still Happy birthday!),  a bunch of them played poker while I cheered from the side and is trying so much to comprehend the awesomeness that they say this game entails. So they weren't using real money but that's not a problem, fake chips still suffice.

After about 5 games I only soaked up the words-- flush, bluff, dealer, fold, call. So much for comprehending. I know in time, I'll be the poker player that I deem I will be.

Thanks for a splendid birthday party Julz. I'll be getting my glassware next time I'm coming over. :D

A wonderful birthday to my most lovely niece.<3

Niece: Any book.
Me: Do you have anything specific in mind?
Niece: K Zone
Me: Are you sure? Don't you want anything else aside from that? Like a toy? A movie?
Niece: No, that's it. And oh yeah, don't kill the chicken.

Side note: My dad has taken an interest in a chicken. And my niece loves animals. Kids will be kids.

rhea & alden's birthday beach bash

April 12-2010- What a neat way to start the summer and spend their birthdays.
Islands Banca Cruises did their part well and sent us out to Hilotongan and Pandanon Island for wetness, snorkels, fishies and sandbar. Such majestic places. I didn't mind laying in the sun coz it was so peaceful.

Thank you birthday girl and boy for the smiles, kayak, cold towels and laughs.

celebrate my favorite rockstar's 33rd birthday (which I do every year), I'm preparing cookies and yogurt in my room while I air guitar and high kick to their songs. Don't ask, that's all I could afford. xp
