Yes, her. I wonder why her name was rarely mentioned during my Literature class? Oh well, that doesn't make her any less of a writer though. I'm going back to the classics now. I intend to read all 6 of her books: Sense and Sensibility (1811), Pride and Prejudice (1813), Mansfield Park (1814) and Emma (1816). She wrote two additional novels, Northanger Abbey and Persuasion. In random order.
I was finished with Persuasion last week. It was an old flame of love in the most unsual form and most unsual way. But circumstances, led them back together again with rather different situations than before. Family affairs interfered but Anne Elliot's and Captain Wentworth's love, if it still is love blossomed. But it was love again indeed.
I'm currently reading Sense and Sensibility. I'll blog down my thoughts about it soon. I love how 2 of my Austen books are hard bound. I rarely see that in classics now adays. Hard bounded ones stand the test of time a lot more often than the soft bounded ones. But then again, it has the same contents, so yeah.
I'm gonna get my read on!
UPDATE: finished all 6 books by Austen. Favorite would be Pride and Prejudice and Emma. Most confusing would be Northanger Abbey.

Jane Austen is like a literary heroine. I saw this movie "The Jane Austen Book Club", it was awesome. It was how the women in the book club related their own lives with Austen's books. I definitely recommend the movie if you're reading Austin.

LOL. What a coincidence! I read Pride and Prejudice first and I was bummed out when I saw the movie, I should have read Sense and Sensibility first to see how Austen grew as a writer, and all that jazz. LOL.

i read the books right after i saw the movie, i wished ive seen the movie first so i could have relate to what they were saying. now, im basically spying on HBO just to see if theyll play it again. ahaha

Pride and Prejudice, Persuasion and Sense and Sensibility. I read her books ages ago, when we still had to make book reports and the like. LOL.

I'm currently addicted to J.R. Ward's books. She is a god when it comes to her writing style, it's just so fresh and more relatable, in a way. I can just go on gushing about her. I'm currently on the 7th book of her series. If you like I could send you PDF files of her books.
I intent to read all of austen's books then move on to Edward Allan Poe, one classic at a time. ahaha. And it's cheap! yey!

I've seen the books and it hurts my wallet to see the price for it. So a PDF would be a cheaper alternative for me.
