MUSE live

I was in the presence of rock gods.

I didn't care if I had to pay £10 more on ebay to get the ticket. It was all worth it. Muse was in Glasgow last night to play their new album, The 2nd Law, and other chart-topping hits, which made me a very happy fangirl. People around me apparently noticed my over excitement so they sort of backed up a bit for my friend and I to jump around.

This is one of the best nights in my life so far. I have been such a fan for a long time and to finally see them perform live had me ecstatic..or nearly in the state of 'nirvana'. No wonder they won the 2012 Q Awards for Best Act in the World Today. The energy from both musicians and the crowd were beautiful. The 'pyramid' screen was very cool. It goes upside down then gradually comes down and nearly consumes them which is breath taking.

I am such a happy bunny. Now that's one dream that came true.

HAVE YOU BEEN VOTING MY PRETTIES? Well, we all better get carpal tunnel since they are now up against Muse. Which is a big deal, since Muse equates to the whole European continent. (and you know how many countries there are in there?)

This is hard for me since I have really grown to like Muse. In the absence of MCR, Muse has been there lately. The day I discovered their music was the only time I realized that their every song gives me the goosebumps. But then again, my loyalty is for MCR.

I know, I know I'm going through much trouble debating as to who is better but that's me. A mental musical debate is just what I need. I don't need to explain how much I love MCR. I've just been like that for the past 3 1/2 years I guess.

Every vote contributes to a cookie in my musical cookie jar. This will feed all our hungry deaf hearts and produce happy thoughts.
