I was blog hopping and then I found a post about Ray Caesar. The images are very surreal and eerie.
There's a certain fragility and a sense of feminine power in his art.
"Caesar went on to work in the Art and Photography department of the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, where he has documented various child inflictions in sketches.
This gruesome experience has enabled Caesar to create surreal landscapes and models with very detailed photographic textures." source

Wow...very original concept. I never saw Alice in Wonderland but it reminds me a little of the animation I saw in the trailers.
The spider ones are creeping me out though. I guess you could say I'm somewhat arachnophobic.

Great post xx
sv: thank you :)
really cool visuals, but some of them are a little creepy.
Cool art. Fascinating and slightly spooky.
I've known Ray Ceasar's work for a while nwo, but I'm still not sure exactly what to think of it.
I love the little tree on the last image. Would be cool if we could have those miniature tree lights on our nightstands, right?
If you analyze them, you will see how much meaning they hide and how scary they really are. Like the first one with the little girl cutting her cake, nothing wrong with that at fist glance but when you notice how she holds the knife, it frightens you.
i can't say anything else than wow! :-D
oh wow..beautiful and scary at the same time. so cool.
